Nordic Halibut AS ("the Group") today publishes its interim quarterly report for
Q2 2026. The interim report and consolidated financial statement for Q2 2026
were approved by the Board of Directors on 26 August 2026.
Q2 2026 Highlights
oBiological asset production at sea totalled 642 tonnes, representing an 18.8%
growth compared to the biomass volume at the beginning of the quarter.
oA total of 201 tonnes HOG were harvested, compared to 268 tonnes HOG in Q2
2025. Year-to date harvest volume remains in line with target. The average
harvest weight reached 5.2 kg HOG, up 23% compared to Q2 2025.
oThe average sales price was 170 NOK/kg fresh HOG, consistent with the same
period of the previous year.
oRevenue from goods sold amounted to NOK 30.0 million in the quarter, compared
with NOK 32.1 million in Q2 2025. Underlying EBITDA, excluding a non-recurring
accounting gain from bargain purchase, was negative at NOK 0.7 million. The
Group reported a net loss of NOK 17.0 million for the period.
oConstruction of the Torjulvågen facility progressed as planned during Q2 2026,
and the first fish was successfully introduced in July 2026.
oStrategic acquisition of Pure Norwegian Seafood AS was completed in the quarter
securing control of harvesting and processing operations.
oStrategic acquisition of Gulbygget AS and Thule Marine AS, including Thule
Marine AS's subsidiary Tjeldbergodden Rensefisk AS was completed, securing
flexibility and added production capacity for growth.
