Columbus is expected to release its Q3 2026 interim report on 5 November 2026 and will announce its new strategy on the same day. At 13:00 CET, CEO & President Søren Krogh Knudsen and CFO Brian Iversen will present the results in a live online event, followed by a Q&A session.
Ahead of the report, Columbus has adjusted its full-year 2026 guidance and published preliminary Q3 figures. The EBITDA margin guidance is lowered from 8-10% to approximately 6%, while organic revenue growth is narrowed from 0-5% to 2-3%. Management points to low activity levels in the first half of the year and to a major restructuring completed in Q3, undertaken to align competencies and capacity with AI-driven delivery models and to mobilise for the new strategy. The improved activity level and continued growth in Q3 were not sufficient to offset the weak start to the year.
Q3 revenue rose 6% to DKK 367m, an acceleration from 2% growth in Q2 2026 and from a 1% decline in H1. EBITDA was DKK 18m, corresponding to a margin of 4.8%, including DKK 20m of severance provisions from a capacity adjustment affecting more than 80 employees. Adjusted for other operating expenses, EBITDA was DKK 38m and the margin 10.3%, a marked step up from the 4.0% reported in Q2 and the first clear evidence that returning growth is translating into earnings.
With 9M revenue of around DKK 1,205m and reported EBITDA of around DKK 61m, the revised guidance implies Q4 revenue of roughly DKK 403-419m and EBITDA of around DKK 35m, broadly in line with the DKK 35m and 9.0% margin delivered in Q4 2025. The steep H2 margin bridge that the original guidance required has therefore been removed, while the adjusted Q3 margin indicates that the underlying cost base is now closer to the level the original guidance assumed.
Beyond the Q3 figures, focus at the event is expected to be on the new strategy and on the long-term financial ambitions, which were no longer restated in the Q2 report, where the previous targets were 10% revenue growth and a 15% EBITDA margin. Pricing and contribution margins on new contract wins, the annualised effect of the capacity adjustment, the demand picture in Sweden and Denmark, and the role of AI in Columbus’s revenue model are also likely to come into focus.
